About Me

My yoga journey started not too long after I had my second child. Unfortunately, after having my baby girl, I fell into a state of postpartum depression pretty quickly. I’d lost myself completely, I wasn’t sure who I was anymore other than being Mum, I needed to find a way to re find myself for who I was outside of that title. Thats when I started practicing Macrame, tying knots became my therapy, I found a sense of myself again, a small creative piece of a puzzle that had long gone missing. I created an incredible business designing, making and selling pieces of Art for other people’s homes, I did it ‘For the love of knots’ and all was amazing.

Until around a year later when I went through a few things that brought on such
incredible anxiety that I just couldn’t shake. I was struggling just to make it
through the day, I was having panic attacks over the smallest things, I was
breaking down all too often, so I knew something needed to change. Thats when I
started yoga…

Yoga transformed me, yoga was the thing that pulled me out of the pits of my
own mental health and helped me through some really tough periods in my life.
It pulled me out of that deep dark hole of anxiety and fear. It helped me
change my mindset and how I view myself, it helped me gain confidence and love
myself for who I am, and it helped me put my own personal puzzle back together,
it helped me become whole again. Yoga also brought me to essential oils, with
the intention of bringing something extra to my yoga practice, I started diving
into oils and meditation, I started living low tox, we started DIYing our own
products or using plant based, chemical free products throughout our home and I
started prioritizing not only mine, but also my family’s health and wellness.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not perfect and I still have my moments
that things overwhelm me, but it’s all a journey and now when those moments
arise, I know that I have better tools at hand to help get me through the
valleys. I’ve learnt to prioritize myself and dive into self-care, I’ve learnt
that making that time for me first, working on myself, to better my own mental
health through mindful habits, ends up beneficial for my entire family. You
can’t pour from an empty cup, but by filling your cup first, you can then watch
your family flourish in the overflow

I became so passionate about this that I then decided to go on and complete
my 200-hour yoga teacher training. This brings me to where I am today…

My Why

I am here became I am passionate about helping others, whether they are mums or not,
I’m here to help women that have been feeling a similar way, or going through a
similar thing, I am here to help them to find that light at the end of the tunnel and in turn find themselves.

I understand life is busy, and everyone has their own crazy schedules. Trust me, I’ve been there. Struggling to find time to fit in my practices and selfcare. Not having an option of help with the kids so I could make it to a class…

That’s why I’m passionate about offering online yoga that you can do from the comfort of your own home, allowing you the ability to practice on whatever day or at whatever time that best works around your lifestyle.

It is possible to fit in time for yourself and fill up your own cup Mumma, even though at times it can feel impossible. I understand that feeling, that’s why I’m here to help!
